Hey, are you a nice person? That’s not something you can really ask.
There’s a lot that you can’t learn about a person unless you see them in different environments and contexts. So going into context dates. So you’re not just talking across the dinner table or drinks for many consecutive days.
You know, in matchmaking, we would get a lot of people saying, Oh, I want someone who’s really kind, but that’s not something you can ask like, Hey, are you a nice person? No, that’s not an actual thing to ask them.
How are they when you’re walking down the street? Are they considerate? Are they opening the door for you? Those are context clues that can tell you more about their character than just talking back and forth.
Within five to eight dates you should know if someone’s going to be a potential prospect.
